Please Note:
Personal Stuffs : You should prepare comfortable clothes, slippers sun glasses, hat/cap, inhalant, balm etc. Private snorkel is preferable as same as snack since there hasn?t minimart on Koh Kood.
Budget : If you lay a half of deposit, you should pay the rest before you go there at least 7 days. Additionally, holding cash is better than a credit card because no bank runs the business there.

Speedboat services, which sail form Laem Sok and sometimes Dan Kao on the mainland, to ensure our guests a safe journey all the way from the mainland to Ko Kut island. Speed boat currently offer twice daily speed boat or ferry boat transfers to Koh Kood island. The first boat departs from Laem Sok pier at 09:00 to take you to the Koh Kood Resort, while the second speedboat or power ferry departs from Laem Sok at 13:00.

For your information : When travelling overland to your booked accommodation on an island without its own airport, make sure that boat and train schedules match with each other. If you travel overland by own car, it is very important to arrive at the boat pier in time in order to catch the boat. Various islands offer limited boat transfer from and to the mainland, especially when traveling in the early morning / late evening. It is highly recommendable to add extra time to your planned travel plan.

:: Infrastructure on Koh Kood
The island is rather flat compared to Ko Chang with the highest mountain on the island, Khao Phaenth, measuring 315 metres. It has a good number of wonderful beaches with crystal clear water (Ta Pho Beach, Khlong Chao Beach, Thakian Beach, Phrao Beach etc.). Inland, the island is very wild with a lot of coconut and rubber tree plantations located in the plains.
Population on Koh Kood
Most of the island inhabitants live off of the cultivation of coconut, rubber production or fishing. But meanwhile the expanding tourism industry gives more and more work to the less than 2,000 residents.
