Beach Front Bungalows
Lanta Castaway's Beachfront Bungalow is our new premium bungalow with huge sea-facing windows. It is a spacious 39 square meters and is very comfortably adorned. It is furnished with air-conditioning, cable TV, mini-bar, indoor toilet, hot water shower, terrace, and a private patio. It contains a king sized bed, as well as, a sofa bed.
Sea View Bungalows
The Sea view Bungalows are also part of our new premium bungalows. They are a very spacious 36 square meters each and are comfortably adorned, as well. They are furnished with air-conditioning, cable TV, mini-bar, indoor toilet, hot water showers, terrace, and a private patio. Each bungalow contains two queen sized beds and has a view of Long Beach in Koh Lanta.
Deluxe Bungalows
Some of the newest bungalows in Koh Lanta are our new Deluxe Bungalows. Each bungalow includes spacious mid-size rooms which are arranged with either one king sized or two twin size beds. Most of these bungalows are of a duplex design with secure doors connecting the two rooms. This design allows guests to let just one room or both rooms which is ideal for families. They are comfortably adorned and contain Air-Conditioning, cable TV, an indoor toilet, hot water for showers, and a terrace.
Garden Bungalows
Our Garden Bungalows are gems. Built with traditional thatch roofing, wood siding and an abundance of windows they offer simplistic comfort. Each contain a double size bed, ceiling fan, an indoor toilet, and terrace.

Our large open air restaurant offers a terrific view over the Koh Lanta's Andaman Sea. Featured foods are a variety of delicious Thai, Western, and TexMex dishes.

Getting to Koh Lanta
Koh Lanta is accessible from several locations. The island can be reached by sea from Phuket, Koh Phi Phi and Krabi. It can also be reached via road from Krabi and Trang. Krabi is the closest location to Koh Lanta. Daily flights from Bangkok to Phuket, Krabi and Trang are offered by several different airlines. Only Trang can be reached via train from Bangkok.
Krabi to Koh Lanta
By Ferry - Ferries run twice daily from November through April (dates can vary with weather). The trip takes approximately 1.5 hours.
By Minivan - Public & private minivans operate year-round several times per day. The number of trips per day varies with the seasons, with the first leaving at around 11am and the last at around 4pm. The trip takes approximately 2.5 hours and includes two car ferry crossings. The minivans depart from central Krabi Town. Stop at any number of travel agents in Krabi Town to purchase tickets.
By Taxi - Taxis to Koh Lanta can also be hired from the Krabi Airport.

The trip takes around 2.5 hours and includes two car ferry crossings. The minivans depart from a location opposite the Trang Train Station.
Phuket & Phi-Phi to Koh Lanta
By Ferry - Ferries run daily throughout the year from Phuket to Koh Lanta via Koh Phi Phi. The ferry takes approximately 2 hours from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi and approximately 1 hour from Koh Phi Phi to Koh Lanta. If you wish to make the trip from Phuket to Koh Lanta within the same day, you will need to leave Phuket on the first ferry to Phi Phi. Otherwise, you will need to stay in Phi Phi overnight. At Phi Phi, you will need to change to a second ferry to Koh Lanta.

:: Ko Lanta
Ko Lanta consists of two adjacent islands: Ko Lanta Yai and Ko Lanta Noi. Koh Lanta Yai, This island is home to "Chao Le" or sea gypsies who continue to maintain their traditional lifestyle and beliefs, such as setting a boat a drift to drive out evil and bring good luck, which is practiced during the full moon in June and November. In addition, the island provides tourist facilities while Ko Lanta Noi is the location of the district office. Most of the beaches on Ko Lanta Yai such as Kho Kwang, Khlong Dao, Phra Ae, Khlong Khong, Khlong Nin and Ba Kan Tiang lie in the west, can be reached by road and offer a wide range of accommodations.
Ko Talabeng
This is a limestone island similar to Ko Phi Phi Le with numerous small and attractive beaches and caves that are clearly visible during low tide. Another attraction is the swallows that can be seen on the island.
