21 wooden bungalows provide 26 rooms, all decorated in the local Shan style. Each room provides private bathroom with shower and hot water facilities, air-conditioning and a private terrace / bungalow. To let you be as close to nature as possible there is no TV and telephone in the rooms - instead you can enjoy the sounds of the surrounding jungle, the floating waters and the relaxing atmosphere.

The Fern Resort is located 7 km outside the town of Mae Hong Son. It lies on the edge of Mae Surin National Park and is well known among nature lovers throughout Thailand. Nestled in a lush valley there is a year-round stream running through the small valley well maintained grounds and the peaceful jungle setting. The Shan style wooden bungalows are comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Opposite Wat Phra Non, Wat Kam Ko is a Burmese-style temple built in 1890. A special architectural feature is the cover over the passageway from the entrance arch to the chapel. It also stores text in Thai Yai script chronicling the Thai Yai history.
Phu Khlon Health Treatment
At Phu Klon Country Club (Tel: 0 1473 8013), natural black mud which has skin care and therapeutic benefits has been discovered. Now the area is developed to be a spa resort. To get there, you can travel 6 kilometres from town on Route 1095 (Mae Hong Son-Pai), then turn left into Ban Kong Mai Sak – Ban Huai Khan Road and continue for 4 kilometres.
